Breakfast Club

At SW+A, we realize the importance of knowledge sharing. We do this on a daily basis with our clients and we follow the same model with ourselves. Monday mornings are home to SW+A’s Breakfast Club – a forum where everybody in the company unites to discuss a range of topics including marketing news, new research methods and presentation and facilitation techniques. We share our client successes and brainstorm around areas of opportunity. Breakfast Club is a unique initiative that leverages the internal knowledge and think-tank of our team, allowing us to develop our own Sklar Wilton POV which we pay forward to our clients by inspiring fresh perspectives and new ways of thinking.

SW+A University

The SW+A Knowledge Centre is built on the idea of higher learning and the continuous development of skills and expertise. SW+A has a culture of learning every day and we build on this through formal and informal training. We believe that there is something new to be learned every day in our jobs. That’s why we schedule regular training sessions to fine-tune our ability to best advise our clients. At these sessions, we use our unique Sklar Wilton POV to discuss, examine and refine common marketing frameworks to ensure that our clients are exposed to a balance of time-tested marketing principles and new perspectives and methods. Our vision is to provide the SW+A team with the required tools and process for ongoing learning to provide our clients with a disciplined approach to identify their issues.

Career Progression and Mentoring

At SW+A, we believe that true success stems from both client and personal satisfaction. Each SW+A employee develops their own Personal Development Plan alongside their direct manager who also acts as a mentor. As a team, the associate and mentor work together to establish short and long-term career goals and develop the appropriate action plan to enable their achievement. The Partners and Managing Directors are each actively involved in the businesses to guide and develop the client teams and associates along the way.

Fun Days

We would all go crazy if we simply worked non-stop. SW+A values our people and we like them to know it. From movies and bowling to skiing, we try to shake things up every couple of months. Main events include our holiday party and annual company on-sites and off-sites.
